LWC Tennis: Javy Raya

Raya led the comeback charge in a sixth-seeded match with a 7-6 (3), 6-4 win over Matus Sevcik, as second-seeded Lindsey Wilson men's tennis won the last four matches to beat upset-minded and third-seeded Campbellsville (KY) 5-3 in the Mid-South Conference Tournament semifinals at the Owensboro Tennis Complex.

Fiscal Court votes to open Annex restrooms for holiday FM2

Adair County Judge Executive Gale Cowan allowed the Magistrates to make the decision as to whether to give keys to Farmers Market directors for the holiday weekend. After a brief discussion with coordinators Donna Jones and Darrell Bunnell who were present at yesterday's special called Fiscal Court meeting, the court voted unanimously to give keys for Saturday, April 20, 2019, a Saturday which would normally find the Annex building closed for the holiday, to the Market leaders. Pictured in front after the meeting ended are Bunnell, left, with Magristrate Greg Caldwell. In back are Magistrate Harold Burton, left, County Attorney Jennifer Hutchison-Corbin, and CJE Cowan.
