Roof questions answered at April School Board meeting

David Jones, Transportation and Maintenance Director, points to a slide showing the high school roof areas that he negotiated upgrades on with no cost to the school system. He showed pictures at the April 23, 2019 Adair County Board of Education meeting that explained why he believed, even though the installers said there'd be no problem, that certain areas of the two-year-old roof needed to be upgraded to prevent problems and to keep the life of the warranty protected. Looking on are, from left, Board members Jonathan Gaskins and Terry Harvey.

Bench stolen from Cane Valley Baptist Church

Connie writes, "Someone stole a concrete bench from Cane Valley Baptist Church. Bench looks like wood branches and was given in memory of one of our members. If anyone has any information please call or message us at 270-250-3139 or 270-250-1258."
