Heavy rains caused a one vehicle accident in Taylor County on south Hwy 55 Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 6:24pmET. According to investigation and statements provided, the driver, Clarissa Grimes, 32, of Campbellsville stated due to wet road conditions, the vehicle began to hydroplane and she lost control. The driver and two juvenile passengers were transported to Taylor Regional Hospital by Taylor County EMS with non-life threatening injuries. By somewhat putting my life on the line I was able to calm this common Killdeer down enough for her to show off her speckled eggs. This bird camouflages her babies by making her nest among gravel. Though the sweet, but protective, couples may not mate for life they typically form close bonds and remain together for the entire year or for several years.
