Every time I got my camera lined up, he took off again, and at first I thought he didn't want to be photographed. But as I watched, I noticed that he moved because he was being dive-bombed by smaller insects. The blur at left in this photo is a bee on the attack. Scenic Kentucky: Mammoth Onyx Cave 2019-07-15 - Hart Co., KY - Photo by Tiffany Kessler. Kentucky is famous for its fascinating cave systems. A recent trip through a portion of Mammoth Onyx Cave, located in Hart County, provided some of nature's best air conditioning on a 91 degree day. The cave path, which takes tourists only about 120ft deep into the earth, maintains a year round temperature of 58 degrees.
