Even when Cumberland River traffic was slowed because highways became available, even when commerce in Creelsboro gradually closed and buildings were lost to ruin, this ancient Rock House continued to draw visitors. One resident decided to restore a building and that inspired more people to come. Last November a committee of local folks determined the town would have its renewal and the first festival took place Saturday, September 14, 2019.
