The Halloween special at Betty's is a Chili Cheese Coney served with fries and a drink for only 5.00, and children under 12 get a free hot dog when they swing by today. Jessica writes, "We hope everyone has a great, fun, and safe Halloween!"

Kentucky Color: Low Hanging Mid-Autumn Clouds

Wheeler Hill Pass carried motorists bound for all points South on the Chattanooga Highway up and into low hanging, mid-Autumn clouds on Wednesday morning, October 30th.

Highway 61 climbs more than 400 feet from where it crosses Petitts' Fork of Russell Creek outside of Columbia up into the Highlands. The Highlands are the South Central Kentucky Divide between the Cumberland River and Green River Watersheds and almost always causes variations of temperature and moisture during all seasons of the year.
