Thank you for helping Hungry Kids 2019-11-04 - Columbia - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. Lois Cunningham received an anonymous gift for Hungry Kids Cafe this weekend. She sends a sincere thank you to this donor and many others who have shared and requested to remain unnamed, just wanting to help in the effort to keep the meals program going for another season. With donations like this one and gifts from Farmers Market on the Square, Hungry Kids Cafe feeds young children and students free breakfasts and lunches from April through October. Maintenance will be done to the little building this winter and the insurance payment goal has been met in preparation for opening again in spring.
