Gatton Academy students from Adair County High School were in the spotlight at the December School Board meeting last night. After leading the Pledge with fellow Gatton student Elizabeth Cook, Samuel Hoffman said he was grateful to everyone at ACHS for the opportunity to be part of the Mathematics and Science Academy. He gave a special thank you to his Dad, Columbia UMC Pastor Rob Hoffman, for his family's support.

Lots of interesting lines and textures appeared on the ground in a frozen puddle as tempereatures dropped below freezing this week. With highs expected to hit 50F, they will probably all be gone by end of day.

KY Afield Outdoors: Explore wildlife management areas in KY

The Rolling Fork River carved these bluffs in the Knobs Region in the 2,890-acre Rolling Fork Wildlife Management Area (WMA) along the border of Nelson and Larue counties. Rolling Fork WMA is one of five unique wildlife management areas to visit for those needing to stretch their legs and get out in nature over the holidays.
