Christmas joy spoken in Baylee's expression

Miss Baylee Cowan, age three and a half months, joined her grandmother, Adair County Judge Executive Gale Cowan, along with the county employees and their families for a Christmas celebration Thursday, December 12, 2019 at the Jim Blair Park and Recreation Center. Christmas in the Polly Barn in Glens Fork

Scenic Kentucky: McAlpine Locks

The lock chambers are located at the dam on the Kentucky side of the Ohio River in Louisville, and are capable of a normal lift of 37 feet between the McAlpine pool upstream and the Cannelton pool downstream.

Two vehicle accident witnessed Saturday in Columbia

Local police and rescue personnel responded to an accident at approximately 2:45pmCT Saturday, December 21, 2019 at the corner of Fairground and Myrtle Streets near the campus of Lindsey Wilson College. Two vehicles were involved. No initial injuries were reported. The crash is under investigation, more information will be available from the police report.

Remembering Mike Wilson

The death of Mike Wilson this morning puts the broadcast world into grieving for this good man. Mike began a long career in radio in Green County in 1972 where he built WGRK AM 1550 on top of Buckner Hill in Greensburg.
