2019-12-27 - Columbia - Photo by Todd Green. This is the second beautiful sunset captured on Christmas Eve by Todd Green who observed Mother Nature's art from Haven Hill Cemetery on the hill outside Columbia. Christmas cookies with messages of Peace and Joy
2019-12-26 - Adair County, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. Sugar cookies have a major place on the tables at holiday parties and gatherings. These I thought were special in their colors and in their messages of Peace and Joy. I didn't see any with a message of calorie counts, but figured they don't count at Christmas, right?

Sunny Christmas weather reflected
2019-12-26 - Columbia - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. The fine Christmas sunshine was reflected in the windows of Betty's OK Country Cooking this week. The artful effect may be the result of shading on the inside windows, but we're open to suggestions. The blue is the sky above the Trinity UMC Fellowship Hall. Green is the bank and the black is my car hood. - LW

2019-12-25 - Adair Co., KY - Photo by Jada Atwood. Kevin Atwood writes, "Jada Atwood woke up to this scene Christmas morning. Two planes leaving vapour trails making a perfect cross. The cross just so happened to be accompanied by the North Star in the photo."

Kentucky Color: Christmas Brunch
2019-12-25 - Adair Co., KY - Photo by Billy Joe Fudge. Robin Red-breast took a short break from worming his way through Christmas Day Brunch. Robins plucking earthworms in 60 degree temperatures is just another contribution to the illusion of an Easter morning rather than Christmas morning. At any rate, let us emulate the joy of the season found in Heaven and nature, as well!
