Supporting Adair as Second Amendment Sanctuary County

The Court unanimously approved a Resolution to make Adair a Second Amendment Sanctuary County at the last Fiscal Court meeting Monday night, December 30, 2019. Veterans and friends attended the meeting in support of the resolution to uphold the Second Amendment rights of the citizens of Adair County, KY. Phone system update presented at Fiscal Court meeting
 2019-12-31 - Columbia - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. Adair County Magistrates heard a proposal by Jason Upchurch, 911 director, seated, and Jeff Cooper from Startell of Glasgow toward updating and improving the present phone system. The upgrade would save the county approximately $1,400 a year while moving from outdated analog circuit transmissions to VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocal) service using use the Internet as the transmission medium for telephone calls. The Magistrates will schedule a meeting between now and the first January meeting so that the system can be observed working.

Charli visits with her Marshburn Grandparents

The Marshburns of Adair County have enjoyed the holidays with their sweet girl, Charli, namesake of her grandfather Charlie, their "16-month-old miracle." Grandmother Jeanne Marshburn writes, "Aren't grandbabies wonderful?" Our answer is "Yes!!"
