He explained that the Food and Drug Administration recently approved gene therapy for children under 2 who have infantile-onset SMA. Finally got those Christmas decorations off the tree 2020-02-04 - Campbellsville, KY - Photo by Joan McKinney. Dexter Sloan McKinney is pictured after finally having gotten the last of those Christmas decorations off the big tree. It was tough but somebody had to do it. He was born October 18, 2019 at 1.78 pounds and was adopted just before the holiday. His housemate Greyson is named after Grey’s Anatomy and Sloan is the name of the hospital on Grey’s. Dexter’s name when Joan and Stan McKinney adopted him was Sheogorath known as The Prince of Madness in a video game, but that's a big name for a kitten. So, Dexter was their choice - the name of the TV show Dexter whose character Dexter killed bad guys who hurt others and “deserved” to die.
