Betty Knifley, at right, presented facts about honey at the Adair County Extension Office this week and leaders of local Homemakers Clubs were in attendance so the information can go out to all. Pictured seated are Homemakers President Sharon Harris and her daughter Kim, at left. For those of us who thought of honey only as a delicious sweetener, there's more to know. Honey never spoils if stored in an airtight container. Honey is an ancient gift - it has been discovered in tombs and it is discussed in the Holy Bible.
