Muscles don't start to atrophy until ten days from your last workout, according to Abe Cross, the Director of the Lindsey Wilson Health and Wellness Center, so he advises everyone to keep going in the home. The first video to help demonstrate the use of popular household items to replace weights and weight equipment has been created and uploaded to YouTube. This picture demonstrates one way to keep legs and knees strong using a box with household supplies to create the appropriate weight and then holding it while sitting, standing, sitting, standing, etc. The accompanying article has the link.

ACSO seizes over $30k in methamphetamine

Adair County Sheriff's Office deputies recovered 1.3 pounds of crystal methamphetamine with a street value of over $30,000, along with scales, pills, and a large amount of cash at a traffic stop in the Snake Creek area on Wednesday.

According to the Wikipedia entry on Vanessa atalanta, "In North America, the red admiral generally has two broods from March through October. Most of North America must be recolonized each spring by southern migrants, but the species over winters in south Texas."

Sunset on violets

After several days of clouds and rain, the cats and I were delighted to see the sun setting behind purple violets yesterday, March 25, 2020. They were a welcome sight for me and something warm to roll in for the cats.
