Showers and storms are possible this evening through late tonight as a cold front advances toward the region. The strongest storms will be capable of producing damaging winds and heavy rainfall, although hail and a brief tornado or two cannot be ruled out. Best chance for strong to severe storms will be across southern Kentucky. Strong wind gusts to 50 mph are likely overnight and into Monday morning in the wake of the aforementioned cold front.
