Signs of Spring: Ground Ivy

According to Wikipedia, Glechoma hederacea is known by lots of names, including ground ivy, gill-over-the-ground, creeping charlie, alehoof, tunhoof, catsfoot, field balm, and run-away-robin. While it's fought in the North American lawn care industry, this aromatic, perennial, evergreen creeper of the mint family Lamiaceae is used as a salad green in many countries, and European settlers carried it around the world.

Honeysuckle bush

Changes to appearance at AC Public Library

The fences are up blocking off space in the parking lot at the Adair County Public Library where the new Genealogy Department will be built. There will be no more drive-around in future with the new building.
