Sabine Eastham writes, "Today's introduction of our #futureispworldstar features Silvia Marchesi, from Bariano, Bergamo in Italy. She is joining Lindsey Wilson College in the fall to study Business Administration and to be part of the women's soccer team. She just graduated from High School - I.T. Administration, Finance and Marketing. She loves spending extra time with her family and is training to be ready for fall! Silvia- we are ready and waiting for you!!"

Wildflowers of KY: Lizard's Tail

Wikipedia says that Saururus cernuus is "a herbaceous perennial that gets its name from the white flowers that bloom in the summer months. Flowers usually grow to be 6 to 8 inches long. After the flowers reach maturity the white flowers turn brown, giving the plant its namesake, lizard's tail."

WKU annouces BFA in Film Production

The new BFA in Film Production's conservatory-style approach gives students the opportunity to write and direct several of their own films as well as work on 30-40 of their peers' films in their production courses. Students will be connected with film industry internships, industry-focused study away opportunities, and film union representatives who help students navigate their entry post-graduation into the film and television industry.

Words with Wooden Tiles

The first time local construction caused a multi-hour internet outage at our house, then-six-year-old Hailey was reduced to tears. When it happened again last night, now-eight-year-old Hailey had the wisdom to cope with situation with only mild frustration. However, by hour two, she remained unimpressed with her mother's suggestion to "read a book," and even moreso my claim that I had once gone more than 40 *years* without seeing a YouTube video.

We eventually hit up the board game closet for some classic entertainment, to which she said, "Oh, this is like Words with Friends from the olden days. Is this what it was based on?"
