WKU annouces BFA in Film Production
 2020-06-24 - Bowling Green, KY - Photo courtesy Western Kentucky University. The new BFA in Film Production's conservatory-style approach gives students the opportunity to write and direct several of their own films as well as work on 30-40 of their peers' films in their production courses. Students will be connected with film industry internships, industry-focused study away opportunities, and film union representatives who help students navigate their entry post-graduation into the film and television industry.

Words with Wooden Tiles
 2020-06-24 - Dining Room Table - Photo by Pen. The first time local construction caused a multi-hour internet outage at our house, then-six-year-old Hailey was reduced to tears. When it happened again last night, now-eight-year-old Hailey had the wisdom to cope with situation with only mild frustration. However, by hour two, she remained unimpressed with her mother's suggestion to "read a book," and even moreso my claim that I had once gone more than 40 *years* without seeing a YouTube video.
We eventually hit up the board game closet for some classic entertainment, to which she said, "Oh, this is like Words with Friends from the olden days. Is this what it was based on?"

Beth Wethington greeted voters
 2020-06-24 - Columbia - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. Primary Election Official Beth Wethington welcomed and gave directions to voters at the Adair County Annex. Election officials wore masks when working with the public to help keep everyone safe. One voter chose the elevator and one chose the stairs to the Annex basement where voting stations were set up.
