Scenic Adair County: Fisher Bend Backbone Trail

The Fisher Bend trailhead is on Holmes Bend Road. The Backbone Trail is a 1 mile graveled path down to the lake, and several other trails branch from there, including a 2.7 mile Lake Trail which offers some spectacular views of Green River Lake.

Butler and Caldwells open Cedar Lane Estates

Butler gives credit to two local businesses who have been vital through the development of Cedar Lane Estates - Mike Mckinney, the primary surveyor, and Egypt construction company, primary developers of the grounds.

First home under construction in Cedar Lane Estates

A Russell County couple has started the first new construction, a 7,000 square foot home, in Cedar Lane Estates. The new development offers 160 lots for sale located just two-and-a-half miles from Holmes Bend Marina on Green River Lake.
