The Program is setup to honor Gene and Joyce Hoots of Columbia, and, recipients are to be planning on a career in a technical field. Celebrating Branston Gene Cowan's first year

Branston Gene Cowan will be one year old on September 4, 2020 and the celebrating is ongoing in the hearts of great grandparents, Mitzi and Ricky Bault, Grandma Cowan and the rest of the family. Mitzi said she made this picture of little Branston on a recent visit as he played with his Dad's toy tractors. She said he likes to drive them on their sides. Branston is the son of Blake and MaKaylee Cowan.

School 2020 begins in virtual classrooms

All students started virtually on August 24, 2020 with hopes that face-to-face classroom experiences can begin in September. Justin is the son of Billy Walker and Barry and Tammy Stotts.

Growth at ATS inside the industrial park
 2020-08-25 - Adair County, KY - Photo from ATS. Assisted Transportation Systems continues to grow and expand on acreage purchased in the Green River Commerce Park from the Adair Economic Development Authority. A new building, pictured at left, is nearing completion now, being built by another local business, Fabco. This newest ATS building will be a parts facility to store parts used in manufacturing. ATS is a major supplier of quality special needs wheelchair van conversions for assisted transportation. The business located in at 238 Development Drive, Columbia, KY, presently provides 45 jobs.
