Fall break at Bernheim Arboretum

2020-10-09 - Lebanon Junction, KY - Photo from family collection.
The Booth family shared this keepsake picture a trip to Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest in Clermont, KY for what looked to be a perfect fall break escape. The park, south of Louisville, encompasses 16,137 acres of land, purchased by German immigrant Isaac W. Bernheim in 1929. It was dedicated as a gift to the people of his new homeland and now, more than 500,000 visitors from the U.S. and abroad visit Bernheim each year.
