Billy Joe writes, "I found this Terrapin tightly wedged between two slats on a pallet being stored on its edge against a garage. It was continually trying to claw forward which only increased the grip of the pallet. Apparently Terrapins have no reverse or at least if they do, this one never shifted gears! Gola Burton shares a personal accomplishment - she has lost 112 pounds since November of last year! She says she still has a ways to go to get her health where she wants it to be, but she has already gotten off a sugar pill and blood pressure medicine. The three Smith twins 2020-10-09 - Adair County, KY - Photo from the collection of Annette Richards. Willard Smith, Jim Richards and Wayne Smith were pictured in the 1950s in their Columbia High School Baseball uniforms before the three became members of the first class to graduate from Adair County High School. On their first day at Western Kentucky University in 1954, they walked up the hill after visiting with Willard and Wayne's Uncle Burgess Grant. As they approached Diddle Dorm, Coach Ed Diddle saw them and yelled, "Hey, you three Smith twins! Come over here." Coach Diddle, a native of Adair County, coached the WKU baseball team at that time.
