Attending Adair Fiscal Court meeting

Nine people, including Laura Foust, Ed Darnell, Jason Rector, Libby Moss, and others, were in the audience at the first Adair County Fiscal Court meeting in February 2021. Revenue options were on the agenda for the second time. The public had assumed taxes would be added but after hearing from constituents the Court said they would cut services, beginning with the recycling center.

Those present at the Tuesday night, February 9, 2021 Fiscal Court meeting included AC Judge Executive Cowan; and Magistrates Chris Reeder, Daryl Flatt, Harold Burton, Sammy Baker, Billy Coffey, and Terry Hadley. Greg Caldwell was absent due to the death of his mother. Also present were the Sheriff, Jailor, County Attorney, Fiscal Court Clerk, Treasurer, and Green River Animal Shelter Director.
