Students of the Lindsey Wilson College Bonner Scholar Program share that they are excited to get back to Summer of Service (SoS) site visits this year. Some students are still doing partially virtual service, but most of them hopped on the opportunity to go to sites and serve in person. The first SoS Spotlight is Breanna Embry. She's serving this summer with J.O.Y Ministries' local crisis resource center. Bre alternates days serving in the Center and working on the new shelter property for JOY. She said she loves getting to help fill needs for the Adair County community through the work that JOY does.

Nearly 400 boats are up with the sun this morning on Lake Hartwell on the South Carolina/Georgia border for the 2021 SAF High School National Championship and the 12th Annual High School Fishing World Finals.The four-day tournament has weigh-ins starting at 1:30pmET each day. Many teams from Kentucky are competing, including anglers from Taylor, Wayne, and Barren Counties in southern Kentucky.
