This growth can become an offshoot vine, or, if it's on soil it will turn into a root system. This is a 100'+ Kudzu vine, which has a leaf about every 6-8." The playground at Columbia United Methodist Church, 202 Burkesville Street, received a "re-carpeting" with first-class mulch last week. Workers included, from left, Evan Burton (Columbia police officer who lives across the street from the church and stopped by to help), Ty Coleman, Larry Walker, Pastor Rob Hoffman and Bryan Cook. The church's Sunday School classes are presently at 9amCT, and traditional services at 10am, but beginning September 12 the church will return to the pre-COVID schedule; traditional service at 9:00, Sunday School at 10:00 and contemporary service at 11am.
