JOY Ministries Mission Week

20 campers took part in Camp HOPE, while 60 students joined in on the fun for Mission Week. During Mission Week students served 450 meals to the community, hosted over 75 students for the JOY Back to School Bash, cleaned and prayed over Adair County High School and worked at the JOY Crisis Resource Center.

Adair Fiscal Court Aug 31, 2021 meets at Blair Center

The Adair County Fiscal Court met at the Jim Blair Park and Recreation Center for its second August 2021 session due to the rising numbers of COVID-19 cases. The Blair Center offers plenty of space to spread out from one another for both the Court members and those in attendance.

Giving away playground equipment

Trabue-Russell House anniversary event Sept 17th

200 years of history will be celebrated at the Trabue Russell House in Columbia on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 11am until 1pmCT. The T-R House was built in 1821 by Daniel Trabue on a "bluff" overlooking downtown Columbia. Author and historian Mel Hankla will be there to meet visitors and sign copies of his book. Richard Phelps will be portraying Daniel Trabue. Kentucky fare will be offered.
