LWC Business Professor JC Phelps

Lindsey Wilson College business professor JC Phelps has been named a faculty member in the Kentucky Governor's Scholars Program. Phelps, who attended the program in 2011 as a rising high school senior at Russell County High School, will teach classes in the Business, Accounting and Entrepreneurship Focus Area. He will also lead a general studies course and co-lead a leadership seminar.

A jubilant John Burr Memorial Gymnasium as the Lady Indians topple the Campbellsville Lady Eagles 52-51 in a thriller. This win moves Adair County to the District final at 6pmCT on Thursday against Taylor County and gives them a bid to the 5th Region Tournament.

Congratulations CCHE Hawks, state champions

The CCHE Hawks clinched victory 59 to 55 by the buzzer. The Hawks finished 22-1 in conference play and will proceed to the East Coast Homeschool Nationals in Gatlinburg next week. Lindsey Wilson College students Kirsten de Goede, left, and Maaike Broersma were named Co-Women's Swimmer of the Year in the Mid-South Conference. They are a big reason the Blue Raiders are one of the top-ranked collegiate swimming programs in the country as they prepare for the NAIA National Championships, which will be held March 5-8 in Elkhart, Indiana.
