Travel: Highway 89, Utah
2024-06-12 - Utah - Photo by Robert Ellis, Robert Ellis Woodworking. Robert writes, "Most of my photos of Utah will leave viewers with the impression the state is all reddish and creamy colors; mountains, mesas and slick rock. While that seems to be especially true of Southern Utah, there are areas you travel through that can leave you with the feeling you're somewhere in Colorado.
This stretch of highway between Panguitch and Junction is one of them. The plateau to the right of the barn is near Bryce Canyon National Park, 30+ (guessing) miles away. The mountain chain that runs through the picture is part of Dixie National Forest and the Sevier river runs through this area as well."
