Stan and Joan McKinney, leaders in the group Campbellsville University Retired Personnel Association (CU-RPA), have made a donation to begin a Legacy Garden on the campus. It will honor those who retired from Campbellsville College or Campbellsville University with at least 20 years of service in any department. Your help is needed in gathering all names and dates to engrave the bricks that will make up the garden. Tommy writes, "There are 71 Interstate Highway systems in the United States and the Highway Department wants to add our beloved Cumberland Parkway to their list. It may not matter to some folks but I for one think they should leave it as is. I-65 runs from Chicago to Mobile, Alabama. According to Bing, that's 918 miles of I-65. I don't think they need to add a spur to our Cumberland Parkway and make it an Interstate, besides I don't like the word SPUR because it reminds me of a mean rooster!"
