2018-2019 ACMS-SBDM Parent Minority Member Nominations Download the nomination form here: 2018-09-Minority-Parent-Election-Letter (PDF) By Alma Rich As you are probably aware, most schools have a Site Based Decision Making Council that consists of members of the school community. The role of the council is to help in making decision in many aspects of the school. The SBDM council is made up of two parents, three teachers, and a principal. When the school has at least eight percent of the population considered minority, minority members (one parent and one teacher) are elected to serve a one year term on the council. We are asking for your help in nominating minority parents to serve a one year term on the ACMS SBDM Council. Minority parents who serve must have a child attending Adair County Middle School during the 2018-19 school year. Nominations will be taken Tuesday, September 18, 2018, thru Monday, September 24, 2018, at 3pmCT. Nomination forms need to be turned in, faxed to 270-384-2168, or mailed to the attention of Alma Rich, Adair County Middle School, 322 General John Adair Dr, Columbia, KY.
