Victoria Pike: Amen to Teresa Durbin's lower speed limit idea

Suggests 35mph from Cumberland Parkway interchange to Bypass & Burkesville interchange.

Victoria Pike writes:
AMEN. Finally somebody gets it. Ie been trying to get the speed limit lowered for months from the parkway to the city limits where it goes down. There is too much traffic in this area to be going 55 mph. Traffic surveys have shown people are gonna by the speed limit so no change. Another study showed there was not 100 cars per hour through this area. Hit another dead end. I support reducing the speed limit to 35 mph. I could care less what criteria has to be met. Use some common sense and reduce the speed limit. This is our community and I as a citizen demand a lowering of the new speed through my neighborhood before we lose another precious life. End of rant. - Victoria Pike
