Hungry Kids Cafe at FM 2 - Fresh Cut Flowers in dining room

2018-09-01 - FM2/Hungry Kids Cafe, corner Merchant and Campbellsville Streets, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
Diners at the Hungry Kids Cafe not only enjoy delicious locally produced flavorful meals, they also get a sense of elegance with fresh cut flowers on the tables, provided by Farmers Market on the Square vendor Kathy Campbell of Campbell's Hollow Ranch. Kids are encouraged to touch the flowers and know what real flowers are. From left are Lois Cunningham, who heads the Hungry Kids project; volunteer Gracie Bell, a Lindsey Wilson freshman from Columbia, KY, a 2018 graduate of Adair County High School, and Pamela Felker. Famer's Market on the Square had a fabulous day today, with many of the vendors having sell-out days. The market is open September and October each Saturday, officially 8am-1pmCT, but the walkways begin to fill almost as soon as the first stall is set up.
