Paz-Holley Project update: home purchase underway

From Rick Wilson

The Paz-Holley Project committee members came together last week after achieving the needed amount to purchase the house and now the work of getting the purchase tied down and the house opened begins.

As soon as Joy Ministries has possession of the property, immediate plans for getting the house ready are set to commence with help from volunteers.

We will be announcing items that may still be needed after we complete an evaluation. The house has been closed up for a while and we are thankful that the Band of Brothers volunteers has committed to help with this phase.

Members present at the meeting were Troy Grider, Benton Fudge, Danny Fudge, Stacy Hatcher, Maggie Coleman, Annie Holley, Sarah Dean and Jane Reed.

To help with the Paz-Holley Project contact any one of the committee members that follow: Paz-Holley Project Chairman Rick Wilson 270-378-1490, Treasurer Maggie Coleman 704-281-3055, Robin Lewis 270-250-5299, Troy Grider 270-250-3523, Dennis Loy 270-634-1429, Jane Reed 270-805-9183, Sarah Dean 270-634-2204, Marian Grant 270-378-1782, Danny Fudge 270-634-0727, Benton Fudge 270-634-1530 and Stacey Wilson 270-250-4798.

Paz-Holley Project committee member Stacey Hatcher Wilson has started creating the rewards to the businesses that donated $1,000 each. Here she holds one of (only half left and going fast) the famous banana puddings she pledged to make for any of the businesses matching her 40-for-40 challenge made in June to push the total on up to the $108,000 goal to buy the house for the family of twelve. She baked and served this pudding for her friends at the Quality Personnel open house Wednesday, August 23, 2018.
