Fog is a factor this morning: Larry Smith 10th Fog of August By Larry Smith, Gen Manager, The Big Dawg, FM 99.9 radio Fog is a factor this morning. From my vantage point at 101 N Main, I can see fairly clearly up and down Main Street, but looking south on Columbia Avenue, toward the lake, fog is as thick as a brick. Visibility is less and a quarter mile. For the record, this is the Fog No. 10 for the month of August. That portends many snow days this coming winter. And this morning is only the 14th day of the month. If you commuting to or from Columbia, give yourself a little extra time, especially around Green River Lake. - Larry Smith This story was posted on 2018-08-14 06:01:20
