Top Statewide Crusade leaders in Columbia Tuesday, July 24, 2018, to announce county 2018 overall total of $59,696.00, present check for Chromebooks and funds for Special Education Services in the District

WHAS 11 Larry Ledford and Crusade for Children CEO Dawn Lee visits Adair County Schools to announce the total overall donation of $59,696.00 raised from Adair County this year.



WHAS presented a check in the amount of $29,700.00 to the school district for this coming school years grant request. This will include request for Chromebooks and funds toward special education services. Funding raised in Adair County will always come back locally to the local school district.

Last year WHAS received a total of $32,785.09 with $49,000.00 coming back to the local school district for obtaining a handicapped accessible bus.

The school district is very appreciative of the community and fire departments for their hard work and dedication toward the crusade. - Jason Rector
