New principal for CHS being sought by SBDM Council

CHS Principal David Petett recently resigned from his post and a search for his replacement begins as of tomorrow, Monday, July 16, 2018. Meeting is open to the public.

Campbellsville High School Site-Based Decision Making Council (SBDM) members have begun the process to hire a new principal.

On Friday, July 13, Council members met for formal training on the process. The Council will meet in special session on Monday, July 16, at 8amCT/9amET at the Board of Education office, 136 South Columbia Avenue, Campbellsville, KY. The meeting is open to the public.



At that meeting, Council members will discuss gathering information from stakeholders, criteria for principal selection and interview questions.

CHS SBDM members are Campbellsville Independent Schools Superintendent Kirby Smith, CHS teachers Ben Davis, Anthony Epps and Tyler Hardy and CHS parents Lyle Knifley and Kayce Reynolds.

CHS Principal David Petett recently resigned from his post, and will continue working for Campbellsville Independent Schools as director of food service and federal programs.
