Marvin D. "Rocky" Harris, Jr. of Morehead, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018. He was 64 years of age.

Memorial services are 1pmET Thursday, June 14, 2018 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville St, Liberty, KY. Burial will follow in Lanhamtown Cemetery.

Marvin D. (Rocky) Harris, Jr, 64, Morehead, KY (1954-2018)

Born January 9, 1954 in Lexington, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Marvin D., Sr. and Georgie Lanham Harris. He died Sunday, June 10, 2018, at the age of 64 years, five months, and one day.

He was a self-employed salesman and loved to trade at flea markets. Marvin loved people and was a secret Santa in his community for many years. He was also well known for his passion in family genealogy.

Survivors include
  • Two daughters, Rebecca Woods and Tina Spears, both of Columbus, Indiana
  • One son, Brandon Jenkins of Noblesville, Indiana
  • Five brothers, Don Harris of Nicholasville, Kentucky, Melvin Harris of Edinburgh, Indiana, Kenneth Harris of Columbus, Indiana, Roger Harris of Moultrie, Georgia, and Gordon Harris of Columbus, Indiana
  • One sister, Jane Harvey of Murfreesboro, Tennessee
  • Six grandchildren
  • Two great-grandchildren
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the funeral home to help offset funeral expenses.
