Lydia Vanoy Clark, 83, Casey County, KY (1935-2018)

She was a former cook at Middleburg Elementary School and former employee of Cowden Manufacturing. She was a daughter of the late Albert and Myrtle Cochran Vanoy and she was the widow of Harold Clark who passed away on March 11, 2017.

Lydia Clark, age 83, of Yosemite, KY passed away on Friday April 20, 2018.

Funeral Services will be held at 11amCT/12noonET Monday April 23, 2018 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY Hwy 49, Liberty, KY. Bro. Kevin Pittman and Bro. Johnny Maupin will be officiating. Visitation will be held 5-8pmCT/6-9pmET Sunday April 22, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will follow the funeral service in the Willow Springs Cemetery.



Lydia Clark, 83, Casey County, KY (1935-2018)

Lydia Clark, was born in Liberty, Casey County, KY on February 11, 1935. She was a daughter of the late Albert and Myrtle Cochran Vanoy. She died Friday, April 20, 2018, at the age of 83 years, two months, and nine days.

Lydia was the widow of Harold Clark who passed away on March 11th, 2017.

Lydia was a former cook at Middleburg Elementary and former employee of Cowden's Manufacturing.

Survivors include:
  • Two sons: Tommy and (Betty) Clark of Middleburg, KY; and Kenny and (Elsie) Clark of Hustonville, KY

  • Six Grandchildren: Kendra and (J.P.) Sandusky of Liberty, KY; Ben and (Jennifer) Allen of Lexington, KY; Stephanie and (Robby) Murphy of Middleburg, KY; Austin, Hannah and Hunter Lee all of Middleburg, KY

  • Five great grandchildren: Zetta Marie Sandusky, Brooks and Will Allen, Haley And (Devin) Burton and Megan Murphy,

  • One Sister: Avenell Murphy of La Grange, KY,

  • Two Brothers: Russell Vanoy of Warsaw, KY and Charles Vanoy of Frankfort, KY.
Preceding her in death, besides her parents and spouse, were two brothers: Alvin and Herlin Vanoy and five sisters: Geneva Wilson, Geraldine Asberry, Irene Taylor, Sadie Sharp and Adell Camden.
