Wauneda Pittman age 93, of Danville, KY passed away on Monday April 2, 2018 at Charleston Health Care Center.

Visitation will be held 6-8pmET Wednesday April 4, 2018 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY Hwy 49, Liberty, KY. Funeral Services will be held at 11amET Thursday April 5, 2018 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Keith Bowling officiating. Burial will in the Lanhamtown Cemetery.


Wauneda Estes Pittman age 93, Middleburg, KY native

She was born in Middleburg, KY on January 19, 1925. She was a daughter of the late Ernest and Mary Easter Lanham Estes. She died Monday, April 2, 2018, in Danville, Boyle County, KY, at the age of 93 years, two months, and 14 days.

Wauneda was the widow of Walter Edward Pittman who passed away on March 18, 2012.

She was a former cook for the Casey County School System and a member of the Middleburg Baptist Church.

Survivors include:
  • Two daughters: Louise Godbey of Danville and Brenda Lane of Nicholasville, KY

  • Seven grandchildren,

  • Thirteen great grandchildren,

  • Eight great great grandchildren,

  • Three step grandchildren,

  • Several step great grandchildren

  • One Sister: Ethel Estes of Liberty.
Preceding her in death besides her parents and spouse were two sons: James and Glenn Pittman, One Grandchild and Two Sisters: Lula Bell Wilson and Alma Foley.
