Summer Festival planned for CU Office of Enrollment This can be beneficial for any student who is trying to graduate early or make up courses. - Paua Caldwell By Josh Christian, student news writer, Office of University Communications CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY. (Thu 29 Mar 2018) -- The Office of Enrollment at Campbellsville University is planning a summer festival in order to promote summer courses. The summer festival is Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 10am-1pmCT/11am-2pmET outside Winters Dining Hall, 411 N Columbia Avenue, Campbellsville, KY. "There will be games, good and giveaways!" Paula Caldwell, director of on-campus enrollment, said. The Office of Enrollment plans to grill hot dogs and have popcorn and drinks, Caldwell said. The games played are to be determined as weather permits. The Summer Festival is in an effort to promote summer courses at Campbellsville University. Caldwell suggests summer courses give students at Campbellsville University a unique opportunity. "Summer classes give Campbellsville University students the opportunity to earn credits in a non-traditional setting, featuring a condensed format and primarily online platform," Caldwell said. "This can be beneficial for any student who is trying to graduate early or make up courses," Caldwell said. The prices of the summer courses are also another benefit to consider. "Summer classes are also heavily discounted at nearly a third of the cost during regular semesters," Caldwell said.
