Traffic Conditions KYTC District 4 - Most roads clearing quickly URGENT UPDATE 7:36amCT/Mon 12 Mar 2018: Road Conditions - With ground temperatures now right on the freezing line across the area, roads are freezing here before temperatures start climbing for the day. Numerous crashes are being reported and motorists should be prepared for patches of ice. - Chris Jessie By Chris Jessie Most roads receiving snow overnight are clearing fairly easily across District 4 counties. Temperatures are hanging in the lower 30s and slushy snow on road surfaces will continue melting through the morning commute. Crews are mostly plowing. Salt usage is at a minimum. Motorists should drive with additional caution and be aware there are a few reports of trees/limbs across roads due to heavy, wet snow. - Chris Jessie, District 4, KY Transportation Cabinet, Information Officer Counties: Breckinridge, Grayson, Green, Hardin, Hart, LaRue, Marion, Meade, Nelson, Taylor, and Washington.
