Kenneth Flickner, 76 of the Cooper Ridge Road, Columbia, KY formerly of North Bergen, New Jersey passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 11:56amCT, at his home after an illness.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 1pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home Columbia, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Rev. Pat Smith the officiating clergy. Interment in the Caldwell Chapel Cemetery, 2705 Caldwell Ridge Road, Knifley, KY. The family request visiting after 9:30amCT, Tuesday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.


Kenneth Flickner, 76, Adair County, KY (1941-2018)

He was born May 31, 1941 in Jersey City, NJ. He was the son of the late George & Margaret Sheppard Flickner. He died Sunday, February 11, 2018, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 76 years, eight months, and 11 days.

He is survived by:
  • Two sisters: Dorothy Sommer of Columbia, KY; and Kathleen Buttiglieri of Barnegat, NJ

  • Three nephews: Sean Sommer and Kevin Sommer both of Columbia, KY; and Vincent Buttiglieri of Beechwood, NJ

  • Three nieces: Kelly Luttrell of Windsor, KY; Dawn Intrabartolo of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Dianne Morris of Tabernacle, NJ

  • Several great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews survive
Kenny was a member of the Creston Baptist Church and was retired from the Department of Public Works in North Bergen, NJ.
