Larry Shofner, Taylor County KY native (1953-2018)

"He loved spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed golf, basketball and fishing. Larry was a man who never met a stranger and always put a smile on your face. We will miss you Big L."

Larry Dale Shofner was born in Campbellsville, KY, on June 20, 1953, and left behind his family and friends on February 7, 2018, in Pasadena, Texas.

There will be a memorial visitation from 6-8pmCT/7-9pmET Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the Rosewood Funeral Home, 3939 Pasadena Blvd., Pasadena, Texas.


Larry Shofner, Taylor County KY native (1953-2018)

Larry spent his adult life working in the petro-chemical industry and was with Petroleum Service for thirty-five years as a supervisor and was in supervision with Enterprise Products.

He loved spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed golf, basketball and fishing.

Larry is survived by
  • His wife of twenty-six years, Ann Shofner;

  • Children Shelli Walker, Sandra Barnes and husband Kevin, and Brian Shofner and wife Karen;

  • Sisters Brenda and husband Tim Sumrall, Sharon Gabbert, Diane Walters, and Linda and Eddie Sumrall;

  • Grandchildren Brandon, Alix, Trevor, Selah, Sydney, Trey and Selyn;

  • Nieces and nephews Rusty, Karen, Chad, Chrysta, Jason, Josh, Treva, Mandy, Tonya, Mia, Rhonda, Mark and Autumn.
He was predeceased by his brothers Kenny, Jerry, W.R. and Garnett and his parents Roscoe and Audrey Shofner.

Larry was a man who never met a stranger and always put a smile on your face. We will miss you "Big L".
