Charles Hagy, 83, Adair County, KY (1934-2018)

He grew up in the Eunice and Neatsville area of Adair County, KY. He was the son of Calip Isaac Hagy & Nancy (Rector) Hagy. He was a member of a highly regarded Adair County, Green River Country family. Servies will be in Ohio, followed by visitation and committal services at Salem Cemetery, Casey County, KY.

Charles Hagy 83 passed away, Sunday, January 21, 2018 in Ohio..

Visitation/Masonic Service, Ohio - There will be a visitation at Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine Street, Carthage, Ohio, from 4pmCT/5pmET, Wednesday, January 24, 2018 until time of Masonic Service at 6pmCT/7pmET, at Hodapp Funeral Home.

Visitation/Committal Rites, Casey County, KY. There will also be a visitation at Salem Methodist Church, Casey Co., KY, Thursday, January 25,2018, from 11amCT/12pmNoonET, until funeral service at 12pmNoonCT/1pmET, with burial to follow in the Salem Cemetery, Casey County, KY. McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, is in charge of arrangements.

Charles Hagy, Adair County, KY (1934-2018)

He was born February 22, 1934. He was the son of the late Calip Isaac Hagy & Nancy (Rector) Hagy. He died Sunday, January 21, 2018, in Ohio, at the age of 83 years, 10 months, and 30 days.

Charles Hagy was:
  • The beloved husband of Geneva Overstreet Hagy for 63 years

  • Dear father of Bonnie (Wayne) Bland and Brenda (Fred) Ramsey

  • Grandfather of Lisa (Jerry) Ovesen

  • Great grandfather of Ivy Rose and Gwendolyn Willow Ovesen
He was preceded in death by the brothers and three sisters. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert Joseph, Sr., Harvey Lee , and George Frank Hagy; and by three sisters, Laura Belle Pyles, Pearl Barrett, and Ruby Minor.
