Joe Danny Gosser, 75, of Russell Springs, KY, died Monday, December 25, 2017 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, KY.

Funeral service for Joe Danny Gosser will be 10amCT, Friday, December 29, 2017 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Stephen Bennett officiating. Visitation will be 5pm-8pmCT, Thursday, December 28, 2017, and after 8amCT, Friday. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery.

He was born July 11, 1942 in Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late Arno & Ida Popplewell Gosser. He died Monday, December 25, 2017, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 75 years, five months, and 14 days.

Danny was a farmer and a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Gosser, Leon Gosser; and one sister, Margaret Thrasher. Survivors:
  • Three sisters: Gail Voils, Russell Springs, KY; Judy (Roger) Popplewell, Lebanon, IN; and Flonnie Mae (Darrell) Jesse, Hope, IN

  • One brother: Kenton (Janice) Gosser, Flat Rock, IN

  • And a host of nieces and nephews
The family requests memorials be made to Fairview Baptist Church. These can be made a the funeral home.
