East 80 collision claims lives of Columbian and Russell Countian

Two persons are confirmed dead as the result of a three car collision this afternoon in the 900 Block of Russell Road/KY E 80, in the limits of Columbia, KY:



Adair County Coroner Todd Akin pronounced Jimmie Dale Bennett, 74, of Columbia, KY, deceased at the scene of the accident at 1:06pmCT, Thursday, December 14, 2017.

The second victim, Dwight Banks, 60, Russell Springs, KY, was pronounced deceased by Casey County Coroner Curt Demrow at 3:20pmCT/4:20ET at the Casey County Hospital ER, Liberty, KY.
