Cumberland Co. Cheerleaders hosted Pinkout 23 Oct 2017 Cheer squad will hold half court shot fundraiser throughout 2017-2018 basketball season to help the squad with needed items. Click on headline for complete story with photo(s) Tonight, at 5pmCT, Monday, October 30, 2017, Cumberland County Middle School hosts Metcalfe County Middle School, at Cumberland County Middle School, 908 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY. By Sheri Norris The Cumberland County Cheerleaders honor October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month by hosting a Pinkout night on October 23, 2017, for a Girls doubleheader against the Glasgow Scotties. The cheerleaders had a face paint fundraisers and half court shot contest to help the girls with needed items for Cheer. October 23 until end of ball season the girls will host a half court shot in between home games. On October 23, 2017 Bronson Wade, Isaiah Dyer and Khalin Walden all three won the half court shot. Entries cost $1 and the prize is Subway gift cards and bragging rights! Great job guys on your perfect shots. A second Pinkout night will be held on October 30, 2017, for a boys triple header against the Metcalfe County Hornets. Everyone is invited to join the cheerleaders in celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness tonight. There will be a special presentation from the CCMS cheerleaders in conjunction with Patchwork and Prayers to Dana Denny, a local breast cancer patient. Patchwork and Prayers is a local Community Service Project inspiring others to create, pray over and distribute hand made quilts to patients with life threatening illnesses.
