Charles Estes (Charlie) McKinley, Taylor Co., KY (1929-2017) He professed his faith in Christ in 1939 and became a faithful member of Campbellsville Christian Church where he was a former Elder. He was a veteran having served his country honorably in the United States Navy. He was a retired salesman for Campbellsville Industries and former plant manager at Parker Kalon. He enjoyed golfing and watching all kinds of sports, especially the Kentucky Wildcats. He was the son of the late Homer McKinley & Lucille Herriford McKinley. He was the widower of Sue Skaggs McKinley, his wife of 52 years. He leaves 14 direct living descendants. He was born October 16, 1929 in Taylor County, KY. He died Friday, October 27, 2017 in Bowling Green, Warren County, KY, at the age of 88 years, 11 days. He professed his faith in Christ in 1939 and became a faithful member of Campbellsville Christian Church where he was a former Elder. He was a veteran having served his country honorably in the United States Navy. He was a retired salesman for Campbellsville Industries and former plant manager at Parker Kalon. He enjoyed golfing and watching all kinds of sports, especially the Kentucky Wildcats. He united in marriage to Sue Skaggs June 4, 1952 and she preceded him in death August 31, 2004.
