Captured: KSP seeking public's help locating Fulton Co. escapee

UPDATE 10/14 Fulton Co., KY - On Friday, October 13, at approximately 9:00 p.m., Kentucky State Police received information on the possible whereabouts of the escapee. KSP then asked for assistance of Union City Police Department in Tennessee to check a residence in their city.

At approximately 9:15 p.m., officers with the Union City Police Department located and arrested Jerrell D. Kinney. He is being held in Tennessee, awaiting extradition to Kentucky.


The Kentucky State Police are requesting the public's help locating Jerrell D. Kinney, age 29, of Hickman, Kentucky. Mr. Kinney escaped from custody outside the Fulton County Courthouse yesterday afternoon. He is a black male, 6'02", 170 lbs., short black hair, and brown eyes.

Anyone seeing Mr. Kinney or knowing his whereabouts should immediately contact the Kentucky State Police or local law enforcement.

The investigation is continuing by Trooper Scott Deshields. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kentucky State Police Post 1 at 270-856-3721 or anonymously at 1-800-222-5555. Citizens may also report tips anonymously through the KSP app. The app is available for iPhone, iPad and Android applications and can be easily downloaded free of charge through Apple and Google Play stores.
