Sherry Grant McGrath, 55, Adair Co., KY native (1962-2017) She was a native of Columbia, KY. She was a member of a highly respected Adair County family, the daughter of Pat Radford Grant, who survives, and the late Joe Grant. Her husband, of 30 years, Steve McGrath, survives. She leaves two direct living descendants. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Kentucky, Sherry worked passionately as a labor and delivery nurse for over 30 years, most recently as the Nurse Manager of Labor and Delivery at Baptist Health Louisville. Her compassion, selfless love, and devotion were a constant light for those who knew her. Sherry was a devoted wife, daughter, mother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched. She lives on in the many people whose lives she influenced for better, and the countless babies born under her care. Visitation will be 1pm-8pmCT/2pm-9pmET, Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at the funeral home.
